Emotional life can be broadly understood as the quality of the lived experience of emotion. It encompasses the different ways that emotion can shape and be expressed in the complexity of our embodied and interpersonal lives, as well as the multifaceted factors that influence the emergence, sustenance and modulation of emotion.
